Check Out This Lineup! Inviting Guests To Talk With Class on Word-of-Mouth Marketing Communication

Sorry for the delay. It's the end of the semester and I'm trying to prepare for the summer class as well as teach my class for the current semester.

OK, enough excuses, I'm exited to announce a great series of guest speakers who will be visiting the class this summer.
May 18th: Steve Curran from Pod Design will be speaking on "Viral Marketing and Stimulating WOM and Pass-Along Via Online Gaming" (by the way one of their campaigns was recently awarded the top spot in Marketing Sherpa's Viral Marketing Hall of Fame).

May 23: Ed Keller from The Keller Fay Group, and co-author of The Influentials, will be speaking on "Influentials: Fact, Fiction, or Cultural Narrative?"

May 25: Northeastern University's Office of Marketing and Communications will be speaking on "Practitioner Perspective: A Client’s View On Selecting WOM Marketing Companies"

June 8: Dave Balter from BzzAgent, and co-author of Grapevine: The New Art of Word-of-Mouth Marketing, will be speaking on "Integrating WOM Into the Media Plan"

June 12: Jim Nail from Cymfony will be speaking on "Thiscompanysucks.com!: How To Deal With Negative WOM"
I'm honored that these industry leaders agreed to come in to talk with the class and I think it will be a wonderful experience for the students.

Of course there are many other amazing companies and speakers out there in the word-of-mouth marketing and consumer generated media space who are not on this list. Fortunately for me I'm teaching the class again next Spring so I can hopefully invite them to join us then!

Students will be blogging about the presentations and discussions we have in class so stay tuned to the blog for more information!
